Warranty Policy

At KnoestVintageWatches, every timepiece is carefully inspected to ensure quality, reliability, and performance. We take pride in the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every watch we create.

We provide a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use.

The warranty is only valid when the watch has been used, handled, and maintained according to the official KnoestVintageWatches user manual.

Failure to follow the instructions, warnings, and care guidelines provided in the user manual may result in the warranty becoming void for any resulting damage or malfunction.

What Is Covered?

The 2-year warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects affecting the functionality of the watch

• Defects in internal components caused by faulty workmanship

• Issues that occur under normal usage conditions and with proper care

If a covered defect is confirmed, KnoestVintageWatches will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.

What Is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:

• Accidental damage, impacts, drops, or external forces

• Improper use, negligence, or failure to follow the instructions provided in the KnoestVintageWatches user manual

• Water damage caused by an improperly secured or unscrewed crown

• Water damage caused by operating the crown while the watch is exposed to water

• Water damage resulting from worn seals, aging components, or reduced water resistance over time

• Damage caused by exposure to hot water, showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, or sudden temperature changes

• Normal wear and tear from regular use

• Scratches, chips, cracks, or breakage of the watch crystal

• Wear or damage to the strap, bracelet, or clasp

• Cosmetic changes caused by normal use

• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or servicing

• Damage caused by chemicals, cleaning products, perfumes, sunscreen, or other external substances

• Damage caused by storage in unsuitable conditions or exposure to strong magnetic fields

Water Resistance

Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may decrease over time due to natural aging, wear of seals, and regular use.

To help maintain water resistance:

• Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down and secured before contact with water

• Never operate the crown while the watch is exposed to water

• Avoid hot water, showers, baths, saunas, and steam rooms

• Avoid sudden temperature changes, as these may cause condensation inside the watch

Water resistance depends on correct use and proper maintenance.

Water damage caused by improper handling, an unsecured crown, worn sealing components, or conditions outside normal use is not covered under warranty.

Condensation and Moisture

Temporary light condensation may occur due to sudden temperature changes and does not automatically indicate a manufacturing defect.

Persistent condensation or visible moisture inside the watch requires professional inspection and servicing.

Moisture damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the instructions in the KnoestVintageWatches user manual is not covered under warranty.

The warranty card must be presented together with valid proof of purchase to verify warranty coverage.

Our team will review your request and determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.

Service Outside Warranty

If your watch requires repair or servicing outside the scope of this warranty, KnoestVintageWatches may offer repair options at an additional cost.

Any applicable costs will be communicated and approved before work begins.

Important Information

This warranty applies only to watches purchased directly from KnoestVintageWatches or from an authorized retailer.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage, defects, or malfunctions caused by:

• Failure to follow the instructions, warnings, and care guidelines provided in the official user manual

• Improper handling, storage, or maintenance

• External influences or accidental damage

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications

• Normal aging and wear of components

KnoestVintageWatches reserves the right to determine whether a warranty claim is caused by a manufacturing defect or by improper use, negligence, external damage, or failure to follow the user manual.
